One of Electronic Arts' most recognized series continues with FIFA Soccer 96, sporting new features designed to make it the definitive soccer game available for the Super NES. New offensive moves include sprint dribbles, fakes, and the give and go, while passing arrows will help players target their teammates. With the FIFA license, you get 237 teams in 12 International Leagues for a total of over 3,800 soccer superstars, all modeled with thousands of rendered animations.
John Motson, the voice of International Soccer, will be there to announce all games, whether they're from the full league, playoff or tournament modes. For the true soccer fanatics, FIFA Soccer 96 has a new pro mode and promises smarter goalie artificial intelligence along with team strategy and formation options. Rookies out there needn't worry, because for the first time in a FIFA game there is a practice mode allowing you to fine-tune corner kicks, throw-ins, shootouts, shots on goal, one timers, penalty kicks and passing. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
