DESCRIPTION

The FIFA series returns to the Nintendo 64 for its fourth installment in only two years. Offering more of the same action, but with an emphasis on international competition, fans once again take control of a multitude of teams and battle for world supremacy.

The game offers over 250 teams spanning 12 territories from across the globe. International fans can also play with their favorite country in one of 20 different stadiums. Game modes include Season Mode (battle 12 domestic leagues as you take your team to glory), European Dream League (collection of the strongest 20 teams in Europe), Custom League (allows you to customize league competition), Custom Cup, EA SPORTS Cups, Training, Quick Start, and Golden Goal.

Options include adjustable half lengths, language, auto replay, clock, time and score display, radar, player names, and weather. Players can choose from a selection of eight camera angles, three difficulty settings, multiple game speeds, and whether or not offsides, injuries, substitutions, and/or fatigue are allowed. On top of the usual team and player edit features, EA SPORTS incorporated team management functions with the ability to make strategies and formations as well as change starting lineups. ~ Brad Penniment, All Game Guide
