DESCRIPTION

Fever Pitch Soccer is an aptly named fast action soccer game. Gameplay perspective is a 45 degree downward view on the field. The game features both exhibition (single game) and tournament modes. The player may select a team from one of 28 different countries each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Optional settings are available for turning on or off the instant replays and after goal celebrations. The players may also select how foul tolerant the referee is.

All of the men on the field are controllable by the player except for the goalie who may only be controlled after he has the ball. Players may make their men kick/shoot (controlling ball swerve and height), pass, slide tackle, and go for headers. Star players can do special moves including back heels and crosses.

The game also offers authentic soccer features like throw-ins, corner kicks, and penalty kicks. ~ Joseph Scoleri III, All Game Guide
