DESCRIPTION

The source material may be darkly funny, but Fester's Quest falls flat in not only the humor and horror departments, but in the gameplay department as well. The introductory scene with Fester moonbathing is mildly amusing, but after that there's little or no wit. Although the controls are good, Fester moves too slowly, and it gets incredibly monotonous shooting various unimaginatively drawn aliens. A peppy (but hardly spooky or ooky) soundtrack provides the musical background, and the sound effects are overly familiar, introducing nothing new or interesting to the mix. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
