DESCRIPTION

Silent film and comic strip star Felix the Cat makes his handheld debut as a conversion of 1992's NES game. The plot is the same for both versions, which has the dastardly Professor abducting Felix's girlfriend, Kitty, in an attempt to get his hands on Felix's magic bag. The Game Boy title features less content than its console predecessor, however, with 11 side-scrolling stages instead of 23. The action is otherwise the same. Felix must use helpful power-ups to make it safely through a forest, an ancient pyramid, the sea, and even outer space. To activate such items and vehicles as a magic hat, submarine, umbrella, life raft, rocket car, and tank, Felix will need to collect various balloons and hearts found scattered throughout each stage. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
