DESCRIPTION

In the role of a mercenary, Far Cry 2 players find themselves in Africa. They are to bring down an arms dealer known only as "the Jackal," who has been thriving on tribal warfare. Suitably equipped but mostly alone, players are left to themselves to decide exactly what needs to be done and how to do it. Instead of a linear storyline or scripted quests, the game presents a framework of places and people who are designed to act according to their own natures, and react according to the way the player deals with them.

The game's heroes are a group of loosely associated "buddies." Players can choose to play as any one of the characters in this group, and the others will be placed in the game as friendly NPCs. Friends and enemies alike, all NPCs in the game are designed to act and react naturally in their current circumstances. Enemy guards tend to their duties and make decisions dynamically. “Nice work sir! as had been echoed by @alphadoque and @changeagent, this is the kind of post we love to see here at gamerDNA. We are all avid gamers, and we really love it when people share about what they have been playing, both for posterity and for themselves.

I also want to say thanks to YOU for sticking with US while we navigate the treacherous waters of Internet Startups, new technologies, and social networks. We've certainly had our share of downtimes, slow times, and feature false-starts, but I think with the help of folks like you, we have been honing in on what we can do to make this site the place for gaming and gaming conversations.

We have been hard at work on a new deployment (should launch on Tuesday) and we had to scramble last minute to get in PSN data, but we are siked to do so, and you are the reason why. Finally PSN players can get some of the automation loving that only PC and XBOX players had on our site previously.
