DESCRIPTION
Fantasy Wars is a 3D turn-based strategy game set within a fantasy kingdom that is home to humans, orcs, dwarves, and elves. There are three story-driven campaigns that center on the attack of human lands by an orc chieftain. Players can participate is castle sieges, set up village defenses, lead swift raids into enemy land, and perform reconnaissance missions. There are more than 70 different military units spread across nine separate armies, and players can choose to represent any of the four races in single-player mode, share the Hotseat with friends, or play online through a LAN or Internet connection. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide

“Fantasy Wars looked promising, implementing some classic elements with some surprising ones...
+ Imagine a map-based, turn-based Warcraft with hexes instead of squares, providing many tactical options.
+ Armies are highly customizable and no foe should be regarded as simple since they also have this customization. No unit will be the same.
- The game is dull, the combat system is poorly executed and the strategical options of the map are not implemeted.
- Not fun. Need more reasons?
- God, those graphics look horrible...
The game looks promising but fails to deliver. Try to hold out in the campaign as long as you can, that won't be long anyway...”
