DESCRIPTION

Fantasy General is the follow up title to SSI's successful Panzer General and incorporates many of the same features set in a vastly different environment. In this strategic war game, you assume a leadership role as one of four pre-generated fantasy generals (with the option of customizing your own) to face the potentially destructive challenge of the evil Shadowlord who wants nothing more than to conquer the world of Aer, your homeland, and subjugate the people to a dismal life of oppression under his armies of darkness. Aer's Council of Five has chosen four champions of exceptional ability of which you are the warlord. You create your army of might and magic from more than 120 available fantasy units and can augment your forces with uniquely powerful heroes if you can find them. Then to improve your chances in the final battles you must cultivate experience one battle at a time as you attempt to overthrow the Shadowlord's four lieutenants, each controlling one of the four continents surrounding his fortress on Fire Isle.
