DESCRIPTION
Four fairytale characters violently battle hordes of wolves, bunnies, gingerbread men, toy soldiers, and other unhinged enemies in this hack-and-slash title from Playlogic. Powered by the Unreal Engine 3, Fairytale Fights includes both online and offline cooperative play across dozens of side-scrolling levels as well as competitive play in a series of versus modes. Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, "Naked Emperor," and "Beanstalk Jack" slice-and-dice foes with axes, knives, and other edged weapons, as blood spurts and splatters across the screen and on nearby objects. Each pint-sized, bug-eyed character must carefully make his or her way across hazard-filled environments, avoiding spinning saw blades, crushing ceilings, and other dangers to bring peace to the land. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide

“What I liked:
- Dark humour / hyper-violent approach to fairy tales. Combine the Brothers' Grimm with a few buckets of blood and this is what you get.
- The gameplay wasn't half-bad; from sliding around in blood to absolutely dicing enemies to pieces.
- The ability to completely drench a bright green field in bright red blood! And a few body parts...
What I didn't like:
- Very rough-around-the-edges game. Not a lot of attention to detail.
- Horrendous camera. Incredibly frustrating a lot of the time.
- Though I realise it's a hack n' slash, at times it feels a little too repetitive for it to be completely enjoyable.”

“Now this game is satisfyingly bloody. I picked Snow White as my character and did the first stage of the kettle quest. It isn't something that can hold my attention for long, but I will enjoy...”

“Could have been promising as far as Castle Crashers clones go. The idea behind it and the humor seemed like it could have worked. However they weren't pulled off very well and really awkward controls made the game pretty much unplayable.”

“I completed the game on Normal playing co-op with a friend on the same system. It worked out perfectly and I was extremely impressed with the couch co-op system. The game was cheesy as hell, had...”

“So I have read the reviews for this game and they were terrible. I still wanted to play it because it looked funny. I put a price match up on half.com and got it for ten bucks brand new. Anyway I...”
