DESCRIPTION
This first F.E.A.R. expansion pack picks up where the original game left off: after your helicopter's crash-landing in a ruined city, you must find another way to reunite with the remaining soldiers of the First Encounter Assault Recon team. Yet it won't be as easy as walking to the rendezvous point. The ghostly little girl named Alma is now in charge of the cloned paranormal army, and she is rumored to be more adept at military strategy then her dearly departed son. Enemies in Extraction Point are more intent on using cover, diversionary tactics, and flanking moves to snuff you out.
As players explore their dank surroundings, they will find themselves battling for their lives in abandoned subway tunnels, a decaying church, and other buildings in various states of disrepair. New to Extraction Point is a rival enemy called the shadow creatures, whose glowing eyes pierce the darkness as they prepare to pounce on their newfound prey. To help tip the scales in your favor, the game includes a new mini-gun and other armaments with added firepower. F.E.A.R. Extraction Point offers an estimated six to eight hours of atmospheric action and spine-tingling shooting. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide

“This was too short! I know it was only an expansion to the original, but it was still too short of a game. It ended too predictably as well, though Alma still being alive did catch me off guard.”
