Memories of playing Exteel

I remember playing this with a few guys I game with. while I found the customization to be novel, I found it lacking at the same time. A setup for getting that 1 extra point of damage out of a cannon was nice but you ended up looking like a failed piece of Gundam fanart. Having a lack of coloring options, along with some mystical way for paint to be time limited and bonk you back to roll out colors after a week made the build-a-bot part fall flat for me. Lagging around the map, skills that more or less trapped you and your target in an animation immune to outside intervention, and a real lack of game modes ruined things for me. 5/10
