Exile is a condition. It is also a place. A place where the Empire throws those who don't fit in, who disagree with it, those who are different. It is an underground world filled with countless refugees from the Empire's purges. And now it's your home.

That's the premise behind Exile: Escape from the Pit by Spiderweb Software. You are cast in the role as one in a colony of misfits who have been thrown into this strange underground prison and are now forced to fend for your life. But you aren't alone down there.

Nephilim, cat-like predators and the Slithkzerai, subterranean lizard men, also share Exile with you and your fellow humans. But, instead of banding together, they have chosen to fight the humans at every opportunity.
