DESCRIPTION

Exile. A word and a world, a prison where the Empire imprisoned many of its own for the crime of not fitting in. Then some Exilers managed to teleport into the Emperor's palace and slay him and his guards.

The Empire tried to starve the citizens out from Exile by not sending more people into its depths. When that didn't work, they tried sending their best soldiers and mages into the depths to kill off the people in Exile. But that failed, too.

Now the people of Exile have decided to come up onto the surface again. But they want to know whether it is safe to come out again, whether the Empire will leave them alone to live out their lives in peace.

That's where you come in. You will go to the surface from Fort Emergence and scout out the area to see if the Empire is willing to forgive and forget. If the area is free and safe, the Exilers will start coming up from below, free to stand once more in the sun.
