Exile. More than just a name or condition, but a place underneath the ground where the Empire sent its misfits to live out their days so they could not trouble the other citizens.

At the end of Exile: Escape from the Pit, a party of adventurers from Exile were teleported to the Emperor's palace and managed to slay him despite his horde of guards.

Enraged, the Emperor cut off all access to Exile, hoping this would strangle and kill the refugees' kingdom. But it didn't work. If anything, the captives in Exile grew stronger.

Now the citizens of the Empire have resorted to a new tactic. They have begun teleporting their mages and soldiers down into Exile, letting them loose to kill the people in the underground kingdom.
