DESCRIPTION

Everquest: The Scars of Velious is the second expansion pack for the successful massively-multiplayer online game Everquest. The Scars of Velious adds a huge, uncharted land of ice and snow to the already enormous online world of Norrath. As the legend goes, the Great Dragon Veeshan clawed open the continent of Velious, creating there a nest for her brood. She then sealed the land in solid ice with a blast of her mighty breath.

Countless ages later, it is disclosed that Gnomes have been able to construct a ship which can withstand the violent storms of snow and ice surrounding Velious, making that land accessible to the people of Norrath for the first time in remembered history. If brave enough, your character could be among the first to set foot in this forgotten land.

Unlike the previous Everquest expansion, The Scars of Velious does not feature any new player character classes or races. New NPC races are found on Velious though, as well as new types of armor and equipment.
