The third downloadable expansion for Paradox Interactive's 4X empire building strategy game, Europa Universalis III: Heir to the Throne features a number of additions designed to enhance the impact of royal families. Monarchs now belong to dynasties, and their power and influence provide added impact to the diplomatic model, while a larger Holy Roman Empire and increased papacy options create more powerful rulers.
