Europa 1400: The Guild presents the tumultuous and fascinating world of late medieval Europe. Players will choose their parentage, careers, and goals, then venture into a world of trade, religion, and trickery. Occupations include trading, thieving, blacksmithing, and literary pursuits. Mission or dynasty gameplay modes allow players to slowly amass power over generations, or quickly fulfill objectives. The complexity of religions and politics is also an essential part of gameplay; users will have to decide whether the indulgences offered by the church are worth the steep prices. Thieves can quickly obtain immense riches, but they also risk torture and imprisonment. Multiplayer options allow eight players to compete or collaborate. ~ All Game Guide
