DESCRIPTION

Also known as Elevator Action II, Elevator Action Returns employs the basic 2D-style formula of Elevator Action (1983), but adds a number of new features, including additional weaponry (hand grenades, tire bombs and sensor bombs), a number of different obstacles (such as rolling barrels), three playable characters (two guys and a girl) and more violence (such as people on fire). The game also features vastly improved graphics, longer levels and digitized voice effects. While not as simple as its predecessor, Elevator Action Returns is a worthy successor that maintains the spirit (if not the soul) of the original. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
