“I'm more of a Samurai Warriors fan at heart, but it was great to FINALLY play a DW/SW game that doesn't lag out the system during multiplayer, even during musou mode.

I was disappointed that you can only play multiplayer in the "Conquer" mode, not in story mode, and when you go into town the second person has to just sit back and wait while player 1 does their thing. And animal companions weren't nearly as awesome as I thought they would be. But oh well.

Probably most disappointing is the lack of availability of the Xtreme Legends expansion pack for Xbox 360, which would have corrected the major issue of no co-op story mode.

It's still just a mindlessly fun hack n' slash. And I thought the weapons system in this one was kind of fun, because it allowed you to mix things up a bit while still playing as your favorite character.”
