DESCRIPTION
Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony begins during the same time period as Dungeon Siege II: Broken World and is set in a land that has been devastated by a gigantic cataclysm. Players can choose to be either a warlord or battlemage, each of which is capable of obtaining a hero and legendary class that includes special abilities and powers. For example, a warlord might choose berserker for his hero class and gain the use of a dual wield ability or a cleave attack. Players may also recruit the help of an NPC or a pet that can be interchanged with a variety of other animals and people.
Companions and pets can be switched out at any time during the game, and the characters have over 16 choices of pets and companions with which they can face more than 100 different monsters. Players can also choose their attack from over 100 spells and abilities, and there are naval and aerial vehicles that can be commandeered and used to access remote areas of the game environment. Multiplayer action is acquired through the PSP's "Ad-hoc" mode and holds room for up to two players and their in-game companions. Gameplay includes quests, monster hunting, and loot grabbing. Monsters drop such items as "luminous studded helms of destiny" that can be equipped or sold. The inventory screen also features a quick reference that compares looted gear against worn armor to see which provides the most protection and power. ~ Gracie Leach, All Game Guide

“A nice lookig ARPG for the PSP. The loading times are horrible and the levelsystem is strange. Sometimes you get 3 levels per minute. Not many character-variatons are possible and sometimes you don't know, where to go and what to do. Could be better.”
