I seem to be having a bit of a problem in warstorm lately. I don't really have the cards to compete with many of the people at this level... so I might need to change my tactics a bit.

Instead of the bigger number of squads, I am trying to do single squad matches... this seems to at least allow me to win a few. It also allows me to spend less as I don't have to field as many good units in combat. Once I figured this out... the game has been more fun again.

All through the intermediate ladder I was playing six squad matches... so moving back to single squad (or doubles in some cases) feels a bit strange... but it is fun.

I guess that is my new warstorm lesson. If it gets repetitive... shake it up... play a different number of squads... or try building a deck for a new race... like undead or demons (which I rarely play). I have been playing with an Orc deck that uses command +1 on infantry and itis pretty devastating if it all happens according to plan. Which is rare... :) but still fun when all the pieces fall into place. Often the command hero comes out way too late.

Anyhow, still having fun with it after taking a break for awhile since I was getting dominated.
