DESCRIPTION
Designed for children ages five to eight, Dragon Tales: Dragon Adventures is an introductory platform game featuring five original episodes inspired by the PBS animated television series. After selecting a story from the pages of the Dragon Tales Story Book, players assume the roles of characters Max, Emmy, Ord, Zak, Wheezie, or Cassie in order to complete specific objectives.
In "Dragonberry Days," players must collect lost dragonberries, while "Bye-Bye Flutterby" has players catching the butterfly-like flutterbies. "Help I'm Lost" involves finding missing animals and returning them to their friends. The final stories, "Puzzlewood" and "Scaliwag," require players to collect keys and an additional item before finding either Zak & Wheezie or Captain Scaliwag's treasure.
In addition to the main goal, each level features an assortment of three items: Dragonberry Cupcakes, Gems, and Music Notes. Finding them all earns players special Dragon Badges at the end of each story. Three difficulty settings are also available, with the easiest allowing younger players to freely explore the world of Dragon Tales without having to complete objectives. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
