DESCRIPTION
Calling Dirk the Daring! Princess Daphne desperately needs your help! Mordroc, the evil wizard, has kidnapped her and has plans to force her to marry him! Only you can come to the rescue, using a dilapidated old time machine, lightning reflexes and determination in your quest to save the Princess.
Through a series of adventure scenes, you, as Dirk, must overcome strange creatures and characters, master precision swordplay, leap from land to land via a time machine and face the evil of the dreaded Death Ring, Mordroc's final weapon. During your journey, you'll visit an ancient time beset with lava flows and dinosaurs, a land with fire breathing dragons and animated soldier cards, a foreign land inhabited by the Snake Brothers, a piano for a cat and mouse battle of survival, a desert spider attack, mummies and Mordroc himself.
The DVD Video version of Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp, the sequel to Dragon's Lair, contains every scene from the original laser disc Arcade game, randomly selected "mirrored scenes," and a bonus video, a "work in progress" film provided by creators Don Bluth and Gary Goldman shot during the making of the game. Action in the game is controlled by either keyboard input or by a video remote control (with pause options) through a series of onscreen prompts and quick reflexes.
Options include a choice to watch the entire adventure unfold without interaction, selection of "slow" or "regular" speed (depending on you DVD player) and Digital Leisure website www.digitalleisure.com support for a complete set of moves if you become stumped. During gameplay, you are given five lives with infinite continues.
Do you have the lightning reflexes and tenacity required to help Dirk rescue his fair maiden, Princess Daphne, from the evil clutches of Mordroc? Step into the Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp and find out! ~ Michael L. House, All Game Guide
