DESCRIPTION
Dr. Muto is a 3D platform game starring a mad scientist looking for redemption after nearly destroying his world with experiments gone awry. To help repair and rebuild the world, Dr. Muto embarks on an adventure that finds him stealing DNA from nearby planets. This DNA can then be used to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles, allowing the well-meaning but clumsy doctor to transform into a variety of creatures. Changing into Muto-Gorilla, for example, lets the character swing through the air. Dr. Muto can alter his form at any time using an invention called the Splizz gun, and a secondary objective is to find blueprints needed to build up to 15 mechanical marvels to help save his world. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide

“Oh geez, does anyone remember this game? Dr. Muto never ceased to make me laugh my ass off with it's lameness.
For those of you who don't remember this game, or..have never heard of it, Dr. Muto, a scientist, had built a machine that would provide free, renewable energy for his home planet of Midway[go figure the planet's name would be Midway, eh?]. but, the machine was sabotaged by Dr Burnital, a rival of Muto. In short, the sabotaged machine ended up destroying the planet. Dr. Muto survived, and was living on a chunky remain of what used to be his planet, So he decides to make a machine that will rebuild the planet. Easy for a scientist, right? Wrong. Sadly, the pieces that would make up the machine are scattered around different planets. Road trip, baby! So that's basically the point of the game. Now Dr. Muto has this little thingamajig called a Splizz gun, which allows him to change into various animals that will help you throughout the game. Duh. This game also has a bunch of gadgets for the mad doctor to use. All in all, the game is fun to play once, but after that, it'll just gather dust on the ol' gaming shelf.”
