DESCRIPTION

Hoop it up with Double Dunk for the Atari 2600. You can challenge the computer or a human opponent to a game of two-on-two basketball. Each game ends when one team has scored a set number of points (10, 24, 36 or 48) or when a set amount of time (2, 5, 10, or 15 minutes) has elapsed from the clock.

Both teams are made up of an inside player and an outside player. Mr. Inside excels at dunking, rebounding, setting picks and blocking shots, while Mr. Outside is better at perimeter shooting and steals. Prior to putting the ball in motion, you choose one of five different plays to run. Defenders can choose from eight different plays.

Other features and options in Double Dunk include three-point shots, team color selection, a ten-second clock, three-second violations, and offensive and defensive fouls. You can also play the game with foul detection turned on or off. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
