Disney's Jungle Collection is a box set featuring Disney's Hot Shots: Cub Chase, Disney's Hot Shots: Swampberry Sling, Disney's Hot Shots: Paddle Bash, Disney's Hot Shots: Terk and Tantor's Power Lunch, and Disney's Hot Shots: Tarzan Jungle Tumble.
Disney's Hot Shots: Cub Chase is an adventure with Kovu, Timon, Zazu, and Pumbaa. The object of the game is to cover the paths with paw prints while avoiding the meerkat, warthog, and toucan. When all the paths are covered the level is clear and you may move to the next area. You can pick up such power-ups as hyena masks, mud puddles, and bug mounds to scare babysitters, or conceal your identity. For multiplayer action, you and a friend may compete to cover the level with the most paws.
Disney's Hot Shots: Swampberry Sling features such characters as Kiara and Kovu in their attempt to hit targets and swamp creatures with an offshore slingshot. Single-players will try to clear each level of crocodiles, while multiplayer action includes turn-based play with each player getting a shot at each level. The winner is the player with the most points at the end of each game. Power-ups such as splatterberries create higher scores by hitting targets quickly. Players will earn points by hitting targets and creatures, but will lose points if they hit babysitters.
Disney's Hot Shots: Paddle Bash is a Pong-style game that features characters Timon and Pumbaa as they attempt to break their way through plank blocks in order to reach the grubs hiding in the middle. Players can complete the game alone or recruit a friend for some good, clean, and competitive, fun. In a multiplayer game, the gamer with the most points after breaking planks is the winner. Players can also earn points for hitting block multipliers, and for scoring goals, however, they can also lose points for lost pucks.
Disney's Hot Shots: Terk and Tantor's Power Lunch includes two characters from the film Tarzan who have invited friends over for a feast. However, to feed the hungry hoard you must bounce a ball into an animal square, and then bounce into a block that contains the food each friend likes to eat. For example, if you bounce into a yellow gorilla, you should then aim for a yellow banana square. Some icons have special features including the sloth square that will slow your ball down, or the camouflage block that makes your ball invisible for a few moments. The game features 50 levels, and at the end of ten levels you earn an extra life.
A young Tarzan makes an appearance in Disney's Hot Shots: Tarzan Jungle Tumble, a game featuring three levels of play. The first level finds Tarzan at a tree house. Tarzan must climb around the house, throwing furniture and toys into a boat while keeping the baby leopards at bay by squirting them with a baby bottle. In the second level, Tarzan must clean up his mess at Elephant Falls. Knock all the elephants into the lagoon while avoiding Kerchak and the apes. If the apes get too close, you can distract them with a banana. Level three brings Tarzan to a ship with his lady friend Jane. The duo must knock barrels and boxes into the water to keep Clayton and his ruffian friends away. If they get too close, Tarzan can trap them by throwing a net over them. ~ Gracie Leach, All Game Guide
