“I didn't encounter any bugs, but then again I never tried to play against anyone in particular, just joined random games. I used to play from the developer's page, but I don't think that matters, and gDNA doesn't track that version.

So anyway, it's a fun, little racing game, isn't it? :)”

“Yea it is a fun a little racing game. I still don't understand it completely...sometimes running on ground is faster yet sometimes jumping is. I think it has something to do with bouncing effecting your speed...but I just can't figure out exactly what it is. The food speed boosts are certainly understandable though.

The only part of the multiplayer that wasn't working perfectly was joining private games...sometimes it wouldn't recognize a created room for certain people. Mostly worked though.”

“First of all, lag slows down the game. I think this may go for your internet connection as well as your CPU having trouble keeping up. This causes your speed to feel somewhat inconsistent at times. Not sure how it translates to actual speed; it seems everybody is at a disadvantage when a laggy player joins.

I'm not sure being in the air slows you down. It seems pressing down to nail other dinos from the air slows you down though. I also think if you're using a speed boost (either from your recharging self or a flower) staying on the ground is better, at least until you're fully accelerated.

Running uphill slows you down, so try to jump uphill slopes. Jumping and landing on an uphill slope slows you down a LOT, probably the bouncing you refer to, so avoid that. The trick is to jump the slopes and land at the horizontal pieces that are usually in between. With all the clutter in some maps you need to do some guesswork to jump through everything perfectly, which sometimes simply isn't possible.”

“We agree about this game being awesome. :)
I'm not sure what it is exactly, some kind of combination of the game being fast so your adrenaline starts flowing, but still being easy to control, the pixel art style, the multiplayer version of the game, all the collectable/achievable stuff in the single player version...
It's just plain fun, and it's even free.

I found the game on Kongregate, and played through it in one sitting (pausing to get something to eat about halfway). It's not very long, a bit frustrating at times, but still a good experience, and a nice nod to a classical story.
(There's a bit of a problem opening this game's page on gamerDNA, but I reported that already, so I expect it to be fixed soon.)”
