DESCRIPTION
Unlike Dig Dug, which involved digging tunnels and dropping rocks on your foes, this sequel takes place on islands you can dismantle piece by piece. Both games arm you with an inflator pump to blow up Pooka and Fygar, but the strategies involved here aren't as complex as those in the first Dig Dug. The NES is capable of better graphics, and there's no excuse for the flickering that occurs when too many characters are onscreen. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
