DESCRIPTION
In Twin Bee, players take the form of the Twin Bee, a ship equipped with a pair of arms. The ship shoots forward, and the two arms can lob bombs forward to hit ground-based targets. The bombs auto-aim themselves when players are near ground-based targets. Players must destroy or evade the enemies found on each stage, then defeat the stage boss. There are six stages in all.
The game's power-ups come in the form of bells. Differentiated by color, bells have various effects on the Twin Bee ship. Some bells add to the ship's shooting ability, while others give it options that tag behind the ship and shoot along with it. One bell type gives the ship a shield that lasts a certain number of hits — after each hit it shrinks a little until it's completely gone. Bells start out as a certain color, but players can repeatedly shoot bells to change them to other colors. The type of color, and whether the bell changes at all, is random.
Up to two players can participate in the game together. Each player has a stock of Twin Bee ships, and when the ships are destroyed the game is over. ~ Kyle Knight, All Game Guide
