DESCRIPTION

Decathlon contains ten events: 100-meter dash, long jump, shot put, high jump, 400-meter race, 110-meter hurdles, discus throw, pole vault, javelin throw and 1500-meter race. Points are awarded for each individual event and totaled at the end of the competition.

In all events, the speed of your athlete is controlled by moving the joystick rapidly to the left and right. In events that require more than just pure speed — like the long jump and javelin throw — pressing the fire button at the correct moment is necessary to perform a specific action (like jumping or throwing). Each event can be practiced individually, and up to four players can compete, each taking turns using the left joystick.
