“Deca Sports Freedom, for me, struck me as another version of Kinect Sports at first, just with different sports. In the end, they do share similarities, but are different enough to each be standalones. Where Kinect Sports features Table Tennis, Soccer, Boxing, Bowling and Track and Field, Deca Sports Freedom contains Snowboarding, Dodgeball, Tennis, Ski Mougles, Archery, Paintball, Beach Volleyball, Kendo, Figure Skating and Boxing. Each of the sports are reasonably entertaining and I like the settings.
The most interesting sport is probably Paintball, as it is the first FPS on Kinect. For that, it drew some excitement. After playing a couple games, I was happy with what it was like. I can also say that with a modified version I can see some half-decent FPS titles coming to Kinect (not that I want all future FPS games to be for Kinect). The other sports are pretty straight-forward, using mainy your arms to play the games. My favorite sport is probably Dodgeball.
As I said earlier, I like the setting for the game. Each game is played on a different colorful arena. It sure is a lot of color, but not a bad thing. The graphics aren't bad either, which never hurts.
Overall, Deca Sports Freedom, for a game that was a launch game, was generally a success. One of the main downsides is that the game does get unresponsive at times. However, if you can look past that, I think you've got a good game. 3 out of 5 stars.”

“Haven't really dove into this game yet. But it seems like another Kinect Sports, which is a good thing. Except for the paintball. Why attempt to do the motion programming for something that makes people look more retarded than when they jump...”
