DESCRIPTION
The World Seal, through the use of a powerful Death Gate, had kept the earth's magical realms separated for ages past by preventing any interaction. But after eons of war, the Sartan race destroyed the seal, resulting in a breakdown of world order and tranquility. The common bonds that bound humanity together were forgotten and the defeated and imprisoned Patryns, peace and benevolence a distant memory, planned for revenge. As the hero of the story, your character escapes from the terrible prison realm known as the Labyrinth and begins a journey through eleven fantasy treetop worlds of Death Gate with the objective of delivering your race from the tyranny of the Sartans, finding the pieces of the World Seal and reestablishing order and harmony from the ruins of chaos and destruction. The game features a magic system based on usage of ancient runes. Death Gate is a graphic adventure that uses a point and click interface, 3-D animation and professional voice acting to supplement a combination of multiple-choice responses and verb/object selection modes. ~ Michael L. “I played through this in one week in 1997, and it was really fun. I don't remember most of it, since it's been forever.. but I remember liking it!! =^_^=”
