From Tecmo comes Dead or Alive. Tecmo used the Sega's Model 2 board for their Arcade version, the same board used to run Sega's Virtua Fighter 2.

Dead or Alive's control system is similar to that of Virtua Fighter and Fighting Vipers but replaces the block button with an evade button. The evade button allows you to slap away your opponent's attacks and counter with a crippling combo of your own. Surrounding the arenas are floor jets that launch characters into the air if they happen to fall out of the arena.

A number of characters are available for selection, including the infamous women with bouncing breasts. Tecmo has grabbed a lot of attention because of this minor detail. The female characters have chests that bounce for long periods of time while fighting. If this bothers you, or you find it to be a distraction, there is an option to turn off the bouncing breasts feature. ~ Colin Williamson, All Game Guide
