DESCRIPTION

Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX gives players the opportunity to compete as one of ten top BMX riders including Dave Mirra and Ryan Nyquist. Through completing objectives and winning various competitions, you will unlock new bikes, sponsors, levels and secret modes and characters.

In the tradition of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX features around 1,300 tricks with endless combination possibilities. You can perform a barrage of moves including stalls, nose manuals, rear wheel manuals, grinds and a large amount of modifiable aerials. Additionally, the 12 levels contain dirt terrain, street courses and vertical ramps. While six of the levels are objective based, the remaining levels are used for competitions.

There are four modes including Proquest, Session, Free Ride and Two Player. The Proquest will have you progressing through 12 levels, passing goals and participating in various competitions. After finishing this mode with each biker, a new character or gameplay option will be unlocked. In the Session mode, you can practice on any unlocked level for the standard two-minute time limit. Acting as a practice-type mode, Free Ride allows you to ride as long as you want in any given level. Finally, the Two Player mode sports various options including a BMX version of H-O-R-S-E; here's your chance to out race and defeat your braggart friends!

Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX supports the Dual Shock Analog Controller for vibration and analog control. Additionally, you can save unlocked game data and progress with a memory card. ~ Chris Simpson, All Game Guide
