In this "Extreme" 2004 edition of the popular series, Konami's continues with its winning Dance Dance Revolution formula of rhythm-based stepping challenges set to popular licensed dance music. This version of the game offers all the modes and options found in recent DDR releases, and also supports the PlayStation 2's EyeToy accessory for the first time in the series. Over 100 minutes of music is included, featuring songs by 1980s pop idols Duran Duran, British electronica guru BT, and many other artists. ~ All Game Guide

This had a lot of crappy songs, but there were some really good ones when you unlock all the secret songs. Unfortunately I played the arcade version first, which is why I was let down when I played the home version... It didn't have all the songs I wanted from the arcade, but it was still a good experience.
The layout needed some work too... Felt too retro for a ps2 game, but whatever, that's a small cosmetic problem, no big deal.”
