DESCRIPTION

Custom Robo Arena marches onto Nintendo DS as a one-on-one robot fighting game where each combatant comes equipped with a distinct assortment of armor, guns, missiles, and bombs. The goal is to win the Custom Robo Championship by defeating opponents using a combination of gear and skill. Battles are viewed from the handheld's top screen, while the touch screen displays the custom-designed robot's exoskeleton and armaments. While each clash takes place within holographic arenas, robot pilots can visit a futuristic city in between matches to interact with the locals, purchase items, and more. “Well--I admit, I love all of these... well Kid Kool, I mostly like, because--I just cannot take the game seriously.

Except for YuGiOh: Duel Academy. I mean, as ludicrous as a school popping up for people to learn how to properly play a Children's Card Game... YuGiOh is actually so poorly designed, that I can see how it would require such a school.

I mean--when the topic of class mostly revolves around, "how to properly munchkin" it kind of makes me think less of a franchise.”

“Well, I was wanting to do a video LP of PN03 sometime. Generally I am out of practice at the game though.

Custom Robo, yeah--I keep meaning to play this one all the way through, but I keep getting distracted each time.

Counter Force, well, Space Opera FTW. My main issue was I was first playing it like a Star Fox clone... and in Star Fox, I usually have my axis reversed. So the idea of pressing up, to go up, is a little alien to me.

Also American Chopper 2 Full Throttle is surprisingly not as bad as I'd thought it would be. I mean, I was expecting a solid piece of licensed tripe. But from the little I had played, it was not nearly as horrible as I had thought (or hoped ^.^).”

“We need more customisable Mecha battle games. I love the fact that I can construct my own Mecha (okay "Robo"), and send it to battle in an arena. Love the arcade style controls of the battles too.”
