DESCRIPTION

Crossbow is an adaptation of the arcade game of the same name. The 7800 version of the game could be played with a lightgun or by steering crosshairs with a joystick.

In Crossbow you are leading a band of lightly armed friends on a journey to retrieve treasures stolen by the Evil Master. To complete your journey, you must help your friends get through a number of Danger Zones including the Evil Master's castle where they must face a fire breathing dragon.

There are nine different Danger Zones. Each zone has unique threats than can eliminate your friends. The Danger Zones include: a volcano which spews burning rocks, a jungle with monkeys that hurl coconuts, and a village patrolled by a ghost.

You must shoot obstacles and threats to protect all your friends as they walk through the Danger Zone. You can also gain additional friends after you complete a Danger Zone. If all your friends are killed, the game is over. ~ Joseph Scoleri III, All Game Guide
