DESCRIPTION
In Crazy Taxi players choose a taxi and head out into a densely populated world looking for customers. Pull over, pick them up, and drive them to wherever they want to go. As you pass traffic and avoid pedestrians, you'll be awarded extra money as well as a large fare for getting customers to their destinations as quickly as possible. You can choose from one of four drivers: Axel (a well-rounded character), B.D. Joe (his car is fast but has poor traction on non-paved surfaces), Gena (she can accelerate and brake really well), and Gus (his car is big and slow, but it's great on non-paved surfaces). You take your customers to any number of places such as the police station, a local café, Pizza Hut, and Tower Records. You also have a number of moves at your disposal like the crazy dash, crazy drift, and limiter cut. You might also dig up a hidden customer, a reverse track, and another vehicle if you're lucky. With densely populated roads, Naomi-generated graphics, and music from Offspring and Bad Religion, Crazy Taxi offers a twist on the racing game genre. ~ Shawn Sackenheim, All Game Guide
