DESCRIPTION

Cool World is an animated land in another dimension in which cartoon characters, called Doodles, are alive. Cartoonist Jack Deebs has entered this dimension to find that some of the Doodles are friendly while others are hostile. Sultry seductress Holli Would is friendly, but she's only using Jack to get herself a real body and enter into our world. In order to do this, she must steal the Golden Spike of Power, which is hidden atop the Ocean Hotel in Las Vegas. If Holli uses the spike, it could bring about the destruction of both our world and Cool World.

As Jack, you must stop Holli before it's too late. To help you make your way through the game and fend off the many Doodles that will come your way, you can find an arm extender, which lets stretch your arms to reach high places or punch enemies. Sometimes when punched, a Doodle will release a Biff, which will give you extra points. A flashing Biff will give you temporary invincibility. You can jump on some of the Doodles in order to destroy them, crush them or give you extra points.

The first level of the game takes you to Cool World, where you can collect nickels to buy useful and useless items in a pawnshop, look for Holli in a Slash Club, open an account at a bank, and get valuable information at a library. Next you'll enter Sweet World, where you'll avoid cute characters, pick up sweets and serve milkshakes to "cuties." In level three you must open doors and climb a building in order to meet up with Holli. After leaving Holli's Building, you'll find yourself driving down the road, jumping over and swerving around obstacles and chomping teeth.

Level five sends you back to the real world, Las Vegas in particular; here you must trap Doodles by sucking them into an ink pen in order to restore balance to the Interworld Matrix. The next stop is Ocean Hotel, where you must work your way up the outside of the building while avoiding windows that suddenly open. Watch out for Sparks, Holli's partner in crime. In the seventh and final level, the action takes place on the hotel rooftop. Here you must fight past Holli's henchmen, including Sparks, in order to replace the Golden Spike of Power. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
