DESCRIPTION
Unlike the ColecoVision and Atari VCS versions of the game, which boast three screens, Congo Bongo for the Atari 5200 brings home only two of the four levels found in the arcade original: Monkey Mountain and Lazy Lake. Surprisingly, the much-maligned Atari 5200 joysticks work pretty well in controlling the character as he negotiates the pseudo-3D jumps and climbs. As expected, the game is less colorful and less sharp in terms of graphics and sounds than its coin-op counterpart, but it is a reasonable facsimile. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
