DESCRIPTION

Commandos 2 is a sequel to the original real-time strategy games Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines and Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty. As in these earlier games, players take control of Green Beret "Tiny" and his group of highly trained operatives, behind enemy lines in war-torn World War II Europe. To provide more realism and balance, the characters all share the same basic abilities in this edition of the series, but specialists will still be much more effective in their areas of expertise.

Three new characters appear in this title — a tricky thief, a sultry seductress, and a clever canine. Players have much more control over their view of the map and characters are able to enter buildings in this sequel. In spite of the faster-paced gameplay, Commandos 2 is still a strategy game and true victory will always require careful planning and thoughtful execution. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide
