DESCRIPTION
Commando pits you as a lone soldier against an entire army. Your mission is to score points by destroying, annihilating, killing and otherwise eliminating numerous enemy forces and their vehicles and buildings.
You are outfitted with types of two weapons: a rapid-fire machine gun and grenades. You begin the game with three grenades and can acquire more by picking up grenade boxes that appear on the ground. Machine gun fire is unlimited, so blast away until your heart's content.
As you run around like a maniac, shooting at everyone and everything in sight, you will encounter various obstacles. You can blast palm trees or use them to hide behind. You must go around bridges and under barricades. Fox holes should be avoided at all costs.
At the end of each of the eight levels of play, you'll come up against an enemy fortress. After killing a certain number of fortress guards, you will be given clearance to enter the building. After you exit the fortress, it will be automatically destroyed and you will progress to the next level. After completing all eight levels, you must start over, this time with tougher, faster enemies. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
