DESCRIPTION

The original pack-in cartridge with the Atari VCS system, Combat is a two-player game of one-on-one combat with tanks, planes and jet fighters. Tank and jet plane games are viewed from a top down perspective while biplane games are side view. The object in all games is to shoot your opponent more times than he or she shoots you. Twenty-seven variations allow for such options as straight or guided missiles, machine guns, bank shots, easy maze, complex maze, invisible tanks and cloudy or clear skies. You can even pit a B-1 Bomber against a squadron of three biplanes. Simplistic graphics and sound effects belie the game's immense replay value and highly entertaining cat-and-mouse action.
