DESCRIPTION

Columns is an action puzzle game that has you manipulating groups of three connected jewels in order to create matches horizontally, diagonally, or vertically. Each match of three or more will remove the colorful gems from the playing field, as additional columns fall from the top of the screen. Create combo chains to improve your high score and advance to more challenging, faster-paced levels. In addition to the main play mode, where you attempt to clear jewels for as long as possible before the columns eventually block the top of the screen, a "Flash Columns" option is included that involves solving puzzles by removing a flashing jewel before time expires. Columns features both solo and head-to-head play against a friend. Multiple difficulty settings and starting levels are included for a custom challenge. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
