To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original Clue, the European release of Cluedo: Murder at Blackwell Grange, by Hasbro Interactive, introduces an updated version of its earlier computerized release.

Cluedo: Murder At Blackwell Grange contains all of the familiar original game characters, ranging from the mysterious and independent Miss Scarlett to hoary old Colonel Mustard. In this version, poor Doctor Black is the victim of a foul and dastardly fatal attack from an unknown assailant. You have to find the identity of the villain by applying your deductive powers to the available clues, alibis, and weapons.

At this point, though, similarities with the original board game end. Now you can click on dice and watch your character walk around a 3D rendered version of the mansion. The rooms are decked out in detail and your search for the truth is accented by suspense-filled music.

The game includes complete multi-player Internet options and a wide range of gameplay parameters that should enable young, old, novice, or expert gamers to participate at an enjoyable level. ~ Nick Smith, All Game Guide
