Classic Concentration is based on the 1980s game show hosted by Alex Trebeck. It is a game of memory and puzzle solving. The game board is covered by 25 squares. Players take turns selecting two squares each time. Under each square is a prize and when the same prize is matched the two squares disappear, revealing part of the puzzle. At any time players can make an attempt at solving the puzzle. When the puzzle is solved the winner wins all of the prizes they matched. Puzzles are made up of pictures and letters. As a result, even when the complete board is uncovered, the puzzle may still be difficult to solve.
The winner of the first round advances to the second round. During the final round there is no puzzle, only a game of memory. Players must match all of the squares on the board. Under each square is the name of a car. If a player matches all of the squares they win the last car they matched. ~ Jonathan Sutyak, All Game Guide
