DESCRIPTION

Set in the relatively near future, the story of Chaser revolves around a rogue corporate entity that has taken feudal control of the newly industrialized Mars. However, very little of this situation — or anything else for that matter — is known to the story's hero as the game starts. In the role of Chaser, the player soon finds that discovering exactly who he is (and why he is relentlessly pursued by soldiers in black uniforms) is one of the adventure's main challenges.

This first-person shooter begins on a large spacecraft called the H.M.S. Majestic, and moves through frigid Siberia, the surreal landscapes of Mars, and the futuristic cities of Earth as the story unfolds. Chaser is designed to distinguish itself through its selection of authentically detailed weapons, modeled on real-life equipment. In addition to the single-player story, a number of multiplayer modes are supported, both through GameSpy Arcade (up to 62 players) and on dedicated servers (up to 128 players). ~ T.J.
