DESCRIPTION
Chase H.Q. is a game of cops and robbers in high speed cars. Your boss wants to catch the criminals alive, so you cannot shoot them. You can only ram their cars until flames immobilize them. Before you can do that, you must weave through city streets and catch up to the bad guy.
Your dispatcher, Nancy, will update you on the criminals you need to bust before each of the five missions. She will send images of the criminal and his car straight to your onboard computer. Additionally, an arrow will point out the criminal's car when you catch up to him.
Once you catch up to the criminal, he will try to escape. You must follow him as he weaves through the other cars on the highway and speeds up in the straight-aways. To help you catch up to the criminals, your car is loaded with three turbo chargers at the beginning of each level. Occasionally, friendly helicopters will drop more turbo chargers for you to pick up.
You can only catch a criminal after constant crashing immobilizes his car. This means ramming the car many times until it becomes engulfed in flames. Once you have destroyed the criminal's car, you and your virtual partner can cuff him and stuff him in the back of your souped-up unmarked vehicle. ~ Anthony Baize, All Game Guide
