The Championship Manager series has long been the world's foremost soccer management simulator. This installment gives you the chance to control any team from 15 major soccer leagues with the hope of guiding it to the top. All the major competitions are featured, from England's famous FA Cup to the European Champions League.

Players can be brought from over 15 countries, and potential stars can even be trained up from the youth squad. Over 35,000 player and coach profiles are available, making this an unusually deep take on the genre. The tactical system is also designed for depth, giving the manager the option to put any squad member on any training regime.

During actual matches, all the player sees is a possession bar and a commentary bar. In the former, it shows who controls the ball, while the latter explains what is happening. Options include mid-match substitutions, tactical changes, and the like. Most of the game is spent off the field, however, which is generally explored via menus and statistic screens. ~ All Game Guide
