DESCRIPTION
Centipede wiggles its way from the arcades to Game Boy in this release from Accolade. While the core play mechanics are the same as in the coin-op game, the handheld version offers a few customization options. Players can begin the bug-blasting action by selecting one of four starting levels: novice, standard, advanced, and expert. Each setting determines the level you'll start on. Novice begins at level one, standard at level ten, advanced at level 19, and expert at level 28. Competitive friends can either alternate turns or challenge each other via Game Link Cable. Centipede for Game Boy also supports cooperative play with the Game Link accessory, allowing you and a friend to work together to clear the screen of centipedes, spiders, scorpions, beetles, and mushrooms. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
